Slowly dried for the BEST flavor and natural preservation.

Quendalls Premium Horse Treats are always slowly dried, never baked. Baking a horse treat above 150 degrees begins the nutrient breakdown process for water-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin C. And temperatures at 350 degrees or higher rapidly destroying the key B-complex vitamins. Also making the treat crunchy and dry.

At Quendalls we do support healthy homemade treats! Or even better, offer fresh fruits such as bananas, oranges, apples and strawberries to your horse as the perfect reward. But we also understand that fresh fruits and veggies are not always readily available and making no-bake or dried horse treat is not always possible or convenient for the busy lives of equestrians and equine owners.

At Quendalls we slowly dry out our treats at <150 degrees for each and every batch. Prior to drying the treats we add blackstrap molasses which aids in the natural preservation of the treats. They are then pressed to a dense dough to remove any air pockets and then finally dried for about 55 minutes. Not hours. This create an amazingly yummy and chewy but soft cookie for your equine.

So when you are looking for the next perfect reward to say thank you and I love you to your equine friend for a job well done, pass up those big box store horse treats that bake their treats at high temperatures and instead, choose Quendalls for a "just like homemade" slowly dried cookie filled with the best flavors and whole ingredients.
